Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

generator-booang

A yoeman generator with angular (v1.2.0-rc.2) and bootstrap (v3) versions.

Based on the MEAN stack generator for Yeoman by W. Lepinski.

Getting started

  • Make sure you have yo installed on the latest version. npm install -g yo
  • Install the generator: npm install -g generator-booang
  • Run: yo booang on your new folder app

After that follow the steps below.

  1. Use the comand grunt server to start the application with built-in preview server with LiveReload on chrome.
  2. Use the command grunt to generate the optimized files for your application.

App

Sets up a new MEAN (MongoDB, Expressjs, AngularJS and Node.js) app with Twitter Bootstrap, generating all the boilerplate you need to get started. The app generator also optionally installs Jquery.

The following packages are always installed by the app generator:
