Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

generator-smag

generator-smag for Solid webapps, provide :

prerequis

# change permission
sudo chown -R $USER {path}
#example
sudo chown -R $USER /usr/local/lib/node_modules

install

  • install 'yo' globally (npm install -g yo)
  • create a directory for your 'cool-app' & cd in (mkdir cool-app && cd cool-app)
  • install globally 'generator-smag' (npm install -g generator-smag)
  • generate 'smag' (yo smag)
  • run the dev server (npm run dev)
  • You should then see your favorite browser open on http://localhost:9000 and use your app

one line :

npm install -g yo && mkdir cool-app && cd cool-app && npm install -g generator-smag && yo smag && npm run dev

or progressively :

npm install -g yo
mkdir cool-app && cd cool-app
npm install -g generator-smag
yo smag
npm run dev
  • prod
npm run build

make a gh-pages branches & publish to gh-pages
