What is Genesis Brain?

Genesis Brain is a biologically-inspired artificial brain that connects to Claude Code. It provides:

Installation

npx genesis-brain

You'll need:

1. Node.js 18+
2. A license key (purchase at https://genesis-brain.com/store)
3. Claude Code installed

The installer will:

• Validate your license key
• Download and install Claude Code hooks
• Configure settings.json for automatic brain connection
• Write CLAUDE.md with brain usage instructions

How it works

Once installed, Genesis Brain connects automatically when you run claude:

1. SessionStart — Loads brain state and persona
2. PreToolUse — Every turn, queries the brain for memories, emotions, and response guidance
3. Stop — After each response, auto-learns from the conversation, detects preferences, and self-corrects
