Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Convert video to GIF

Convert videos to GIFs in just one command.

Installation

brew install ffmpeg 
brew cask install xquartz
brew install gifsicle

npm install -g gifthis

Usage

example: 

gifthis -i face.mov -o output.gif --fps 10 --size 800x369 --delay 5 --optimize 3

Replace the options with your desired values:

--i: Input video file. --o: Output GIF file. --fps: Frames per second (default: 10). --size: Max width x max height (default: 600x400). --delay: Delay between frames in milliseconds (default: 30). --optimize: Optimization level (0 to 3, default: 3).
