⚔️ git-vector
A low-latency, high-throughput multi-repository Git telemetry and drift analysis engine built in Node.js.
git-vector maps your localized workspace clusters as a dynamic coordinate field, simultaneously quantifying untracked modification vectors and tracking asynchronous upstream ahead/behind divergence metrics without terminal credential hijacking.
git-vector in terminal to run.
git-vector -h for help.
git-vector -d to change target dir.
git-vector -n for vampire.
🚀 Architectural Blueprint
Unlike standard sequential shell loops that block execution on heavy disk I/O, git-vector leverages Node's asynchronous event loop to sweep dozens of repository targets concurrently.
- Local Vectors: Instantly aggregates uncommitted file modifications using decoupled zero-network system checks.
- Upstream Drift: Computes tracking synchronization parameters (
ahead/behindcommit deltas) using parallel network fetches. - Credential Isolation: Process-level environment boundaries completely suppress terminal authentication prompts, allowing flawless execution across public paths while cleanly reporting protected private paths as locked (
🔒 PRIV).
🛠️ Global Installation
Install the compiled tracking engine globally via the npm registry:
npm install -g git-vector
