Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Introduction

ESV or Electrical Schematics viewer has been created to provide technical support to technicians working with Volvo Trucks in order to have access to, Electrical schematics, Connector pinout information and component location images. For a long time this service has been manage by another application created by Bosch, this projects has the main goal of developing an in house application that will result in a more customized experience for our user and a cost reduction for AMT Diagnostics NA.

This application is intended to be use for all Volvo Trucks brands if need and support will be provided per request.

Getting Started

Developers: If you are new in team, welcome!, we encourage you to keep looking at this documentation since it will help you out to understand the work flow during the development phase.

  1. This application is being designed under NodeJS, CSS grid, Html and plain JavaScript.
  2. Atom Text editor has been choose given its simplicity and integration with Git technologies.
  3. app.js file will launch the server application and in order to see your changes while editing your local cloned repository please use: 3.1. command on your command prompt window. (for more info: https://www.npmjs.com/package/nodemon) 3.2. please install nodemon to automatically reload the web server during development by using <npm install -g nodemon>.
  4. package.json file will provide you with a general overview of this app's dependencies and some extra information about the project.
