Glosskit
An open-source evidence layer for accountable reporting.
Glosskit is a lightweight JavaScript/TypeScript framework that adds a toggleable, auditable sourcing layer to any HTML document. Every claim becomes verifiable. Every data point links to its primary source. Every chart carries a chain of custody.
🚧 Coming soon. This package is under active development. Follow progress at github.com/glosskit/glosskit.
What it does
- Toggleable evidence layer — readers switch source citations on and off
- Inline source pills — compact badges linking claims to primary sources
- Responsive detail panels — bottom sheets on mobile, side panels on desktop
- Chart-level data provenance — every data point traces back to its source document
- JSON manifest — all claim-to-source mappings in one portable, auditable file
