Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Glosskit

An open-source evidence layer for accountable reporting.

Glosskit is a lightweight JavaScript/TypeScript framework that adds a toggleable, auditable sourcing layer to any HTML document. Every claim becomes verifiable. Every data point links to its primary source. Every chart carries a chain of custody.

🚧 Coming soon. This package is under active development. Follow progress at github.com/glosskit/glosskit.

What it does

  • Toggleable evidence layer — readers switch source citations on and off
  • Inline source pills — compact badges linking claims to primary sources
  • Responsive detail panels — bottom sheets on mobile, side panels on desktop
  • Chart-level data provenance — every data point traces back to its source document
  • JSON manifest — all claim-to-source mappings in one portable, auditable file
