Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Plot points on various surfaces. To start with Google Sheets and JIMP.

Installation

npm install harry-plotter

Usage

Google Sheets

To work with Google Sheets you need to provide:

  • The credentials from the Service Account you are using
  • The ID of the spreadsheet
  • The size of the image

JIMP

To work with JIMP you need to provide:

  • The name of the image file you want to write to
  • The size of the image

Both

Init the plotter. This is asyncronous:

plotter.init()

Plot a set of points with:

var colours = {red: rgb[0], green: rgb[1], blue: rgb[2]}

plotter.plot_points(points, colours)

Write the results to the surface with:

plotter.write
