Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Hash Subscriber

SUMMARY:


HashSubscriber allows callbacks to be bound to specific changes within the browser's location hash. This will allow separate sections of your program to only listen for changes in the location hash that are important for their operation. This also means that hashchanges that aren't relevant can be ignored.

Installation:

npm install hash-subscriber

Usage:

import HashSubscriber from 'hash-subscriber';

/* SUBSCRIBE */
subscriptionUUID = HashSubscriber.subscribe(arrayOfProperties, callback);

/* UNSUBSCRIBE */
HashSubscriber.unsubscribe(subscriptionUUID);
Assumptions:

properties in the location hash are assumed to be organized in a key value format separated by '&'. This is similar to the typical query string.

example:
SomeWebsite.com/#booleanValue&key=value&anotherKey=anotherValue

Operational Example:
