Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Install

npm i helping_hand
import { module } from 'helping_hand'

Build

Typescript compiler for type declarations. Rollup and babel used for bundling.

Build an output file and type declarations

npm run build

Run types and bunding in watch mode

npm run build:watch

Run only types

npm run build:types

Run type checking

npm run type-check

Local Development

To run locally you will want to npm link the package.

NOTE: If you link then unlink a package you must run your install command again.

Testing

Testing uses Jest and 100% coverage is required.

Run tests

npm run test

Run tests in watch mode
