Homebridge Konnected (ESPHome)

A Homebridge plugin that exposes Konnected alarm panels flashed with ESPHome firmware to Apple HomeKit, speaking the ESPHome native API (port 6053) directly — no REST add-on, no cloud, no original Konnected firmware required.

Supported Features

Zone sensor types are resolved by (in order): ESPHome device_class → the plugin's defaultZoneType setting.

Installation

Install through the Homebridge UI by searching for homebridge-konnected-esp on the Plugins tab, or from the command line:

npm install -g homebridge-konnected-esp

Flash your Konnected panel with ESPHome firmware with the native API enabled, then configure the plugin from the Homebridge UI's plugin settings screen (the configuration form is provided automatically).

Development

• npm run build / npm run watch — compile to dist/
• npm test — mapping unit tests
• F5 in VS Code — runs Homebridge with --user-storage-path homebridge-test-config and --plugin-path ., breakpoints work
• Edit homebridge-test-config/config.json for the panel host/key
• VS Code task "Clear Homebridge Accessory Cache" wipes cached accessories after changing how accessories are built
