Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Homebridge PumpSpy Outlet

This is a Homebridge plugin for the PumpSpy Smart Outlet. It exposes your Sump Pump to Apple HomeKit.

Features

  • Outlet Status: View if your pump is plugged in and receiving AC power.
  • In Use Detection: See when your pump is actively running.
  • Push Alerts: Includes a virtual Leak Sensor. If PumpSpy detects a High Water Alarm or Pump Error, it triggers the sensor, sending a Critical Push Notification to your Apple devices immediately.

Configuration

Simply install the plugin via the Homebridge UI, and enter your PumpSpy App email and password. The plugin will automatically discover your device.

(Note: For safety, HomeKit is prevented from turning the outlet OFF, as doing so would disable your sump pump.)
