HTTP Client MCP Server
A specialized Model Context Protocol (MCP) server designed to help AI assistants (like Claude) explore, search, and read codebase repositories and API specifications efficiently.

Prerequisites

Installation
You can run this server directly using npx:

1. search_content
Search for keywords or regex patterns inside files.
- keyword: The pattern to search for.
- file_extension: (Optional) Filter by file type (e.g.,
ts,go).
2. read_api_spec
Read large files with optional line range support.
- filepath: Path to the file.
- startLine/endLine: (Optional) Specific lines to read.
3. read_specific_endpoint
Extract a specific endpoint and method from an OpenAPI spec or Markdown doc.
- filepath: Spec file path.
- endpointPath: e.g.,
/v1/users. - method: e.g.,
get.
4. list_directory
List files in a directory (ignores node_modules, .git, etc.).
5. search_files
Quickly find files by name.
