Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

New Relic stats from hubot

newrelic servers

Installation

npm install --save hubot-newrelic2
  • Add "hubot-newrelic2" into your hubot project's external-scripts.json
  • Add "hubot-newrelic2": "^0.2.0" (or other version) into your package.json
  • Set HUBOT_NEWRELIC_API_KEY to your New Relic API key
  • Set HUBOT_NEWRELIC_API_HOST to api.newrelic.com (usually)

Usage

Note: You can replace 'newrelic' with 'nr' in all these commands.

  • List all commands
hubot newrelic help

Application Related Commands

  • List all applications
hubot newrelic apps
  • Filtered list of applications
hubot newrelic apps name <filter_string>
  • List of single application's instances
hubot newrelic apps instances <app_id>
