Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

hunch-rep

v0.1.1

Published

Verify any Hunch Arena score card yourself: reads the epoch anchor on 0G Chain, downloads the bundle from 0G Storage, checks it against the anchored root and recomputes every card with the published hrs-1.1 scorer.

hunch-rep

Recompute a Hunch Arena score card yourself, from a clean terminal, trusting nobody.

npx hunch-rep@latest verify --lineage <agent id or slug>
hunch-rep verify — chain mode
  agent a1b2c3d4-0000-4000-8000-000000000001
  epoch 2026-09-17T21 record paper
  bundle 0x6e0d…
  storage 0x5a5a…

PASS config Anchor 0x… on chain 16661
PASS epoch latest anchored epoch 2026-09-17T21
  PASS anchor (0G Chain) epochOf(epoch:2026-09-17T21) = bundleRoot 0x6e0d… at block 4812345
PASS bundle bytes 48211 bytes from 0G Storage by root 0x5a5a…
PASS bundle root keccak256(bytes) = anchored bundleRoot 0x6e0d…
PASS scorer params hrs-1.1, the published scorer parameters
PASS epoch cards all 3 cards recompute from its 244 trades
PASS agent card provisional 214, Unrated (below the ranking floor: min_trades); band 180–251; recomputed exactly
PASS receipts 12 provider signatures valid, 0 labelled unverified (L1)

PASS — the card is exactly what hrs-1.1 computes from the anchored trades.

What it checks

  1. Where — the Arena API names the Anchor contract and the agent's latest anchored epoch.
  2. What — 0G Chain: epochOf(keccak256("epoch:<id>")) on the Anchor returns the bundle's content root, its 0G Storage root and the scorer version.
  3. The bytes — downloaded from 0G Storage by the storage root (the Arena API's copy is a labelled fallback). They must hash to the root on chain, so whoever served them cannot change them.
  4. The score — every card in the epoch is recomputed from the epoch's trades and the card's published inputs with the published hrs-1.1 scorer (@hunchxyz/rep); any field that differs is printed.
  5. Receipts — each sealed-decision receipt's 0G Compute provider signature recovers to its signer over the model output.

What it cannot prove: that the trade log is true. Anchoring proves the scorer ran on the log Hunch published; the attestation chain on each trade is the defence for the log itself.

Usage

hunch-rep verify --lineage <id|slug> [--epoch yyyy-mm-ddThh] [--record paper|real]
                 [--bundle <file> [--root 0x…]] [--api <url>] [--rpc <url>]
                 [--indexer <url>] [--anchor 0x…] [--timeout <ms>] [--json]

| Option | Default | |---|---| | --api | https://arena.playhunch.xyz | | --rpc | https://evmrpc.0g.ai (0G mainnet, chain 16661) | | --indexer | https://indexer-storage-turbo.0g.ai | | --anchor | from GET /api/arena/v1/config | | --epoch | the agent's latest anchored epoch |

Bundle mode verifies a downloaded epoch bundle (e.g. from https://arena.playhunch.xyz/api/arena/v1/epochs/<epoch>) with no chain access:

npx hunch-rep@latest verify --lineage <id> --bundle epoch.json --root 0x<anchored bundleRoot>

Exit codes: 0 PASS, 1 FAIL or could not verify, 2 usage error. --json prints the full report (every check, the card summary and every mismatch) for scripts and CI.

As a library
