Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

iMailer

CLI interface for sending imessages and sms. OSX and messages app required. Available on NPM.

iMailer example

Install

npm install -g imailer

Usage

imailer [<to>] [<message>] [<sms|imessage>]

  • [<to>]
    • Phone number, contact, or email address for iMessages.
    • Phone number only for sms.
  • [<message>]
    • Single words can be unquoted, otherwise the message should be surrounded by quotation marks.
  • [<sms|imessage>]
    • Specify sms to send via sms or leave blank to send iMessages.

Examples

imailer "+447463 383 992" "Hi Jeff!"

imailer 07352009813 "Hi again Jeff!" sms
