Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

inflection-extended

inflection-extended is a Javascript library that can contains different inflection functions.

inflection-extended can be used as a monad library that be be incorporated into extended or used standalone.

camelize

Converts a underscored string to camelcase

//as a function
inflect.camelize("hello_world");  //helloWorld
inflect.camelize("column_name"); //columnName
inflect.camelize("columnName"); //columnName
inflect.camelize(null); //null
inflect.camelize(); //undefined

//as a monad
inflect("hello_world").camelize().value();  //helloWorld
inflect("column_name").camelize().value(); //columnName
inflect("columnName").camelize().value(); //columnName

underscore

Converts a camelcase string to the underscored string.

//as a function
inflect.underscore("helloWorld"); //hello_world
inflect.underscore("column_name"); //column_name

classify

Singularizes and camelizes a string. Also strips out all characters preceding and including a period (".").

The reverse of pluralize, returns the singular form of a word.
