Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Description

This package is a resuable UI library for the Inspire corporation (formerly known as ClinicaHealth). It was created in order to make it easy for developers to add regulary used design and page elements to their Angular apps for use across the whole Inspire site which can be found here: https://www.inspire.com/.

Tools

This library was generated with Angular CLI version 8.0.1.

Library Components

  • Footer: This component contains all of the code for Inspire.com's standard footer.
  • Modal: This component contains a pop-up box with an overlay behind it.
  • Accordion: Allows user to hide and show content. Useful for Q&As, lists, etc.
  • Autocomplete: The component will show suggestions besed on the current user's input in search.
  • Navigation: Inspire's standard default navigation bar. This exists on every page of the site.
  • Post (snippet): This component is used to build post (discussions and journals) feeds.
  • Member Card: A card component similar to what's used in the mobile app that containers all of a members basic information.
  • Community Card: A card component that contains basic information about communities/groups

Install Instructions and Usage

  1. First, in your terminal, run npm install inspire-library
  2. Import the inspire library module into your apps module.ts file (import { InspireLibraryModule } from 'inspire-library').
  3. Add the selectors of whatever library components you wish to use to your projects components. Ex. <ins-footer></ins-footer>.
  4. If your project is running (ng serve --open), the chosen component should appear in the project.
