Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

int-probe

Маленькое окно поверх всех окон с тремя независимыми индикаторами доступности (слева направо):

  1. facebook.com
  2. ya.ru
  3. google.com
  • зелёный — сайт отвечает
  • красный — недоступен
  • при проверке левая половина кружка сохраняет предыдущее состояние, правая пульсирует

Каждый кружок проверяется отдельно: интервал 9–15 секунд (случайный). Если конкретный сайт недоступен — его проверяют в 3 раза чаще (3–5 секунд). Таймаут запроса — 4 секунды.

Установка

npm install -g int-probe

При первой установке npm скачает Electron (~150 MB).

Запуск

int-probe

Локально из репозитория:

npm install
npm start

Управление

  • перетаскивание — двигать окно
  • правый клик — шпаргалка, «Вертикально» / «Горизонтально», поверх всех окон, выход
