jira-self-hosted-mcp
A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Jira Server / Data Center 9.0+.
Expose your self-hosted Jira to any MCP-compatible AI client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, etc.) so it can search, read, create and assign issues on your behalf using JQL.
Not for Jira Cloud (
*.atlassian.net). Users are identified by Jira username (name), notaccountId.

Setup
1. Build

npm install
npm run build2. Configure via environment variables
