matijevic returned to music shortly after and formed the band lost highway. they released the album drifter as a semi-autobiographical tale of longing for the father figure matijevic had never had. lost highway released four albums from 1995-2005. while touring the last two albums, "trucks" and "my life" a severe car accident left the drummer dead in 1996. this caused the remaining four musicians to call it quits. matijevic felt he lost his purpose in music, and in 2005, he formed steelheart with singers terry gable and amy hughes. the band had two albums released, "never surrender" and "murderer", before they called it quits in 2008. as 2013 sees steelheart back together again, forging a new path and living with new music, new concepts and new members. so far, the new line up includes amy hughes on bass, christian muenzer on guitar, michael simmons on drums, and long time friend and keyboard player max becker. as of this update, steelhearts only live shows are a series of u.k shows in which they play the new album "phantom of the parlor" in it's entirety. 84d34552a1
