CLI to install Agent Skills into KaiwuChat at .kaiwuchat/skills/.

Compatible with source formats from the skills.sh ecosystem.

Install & use

No global install required:

# From skills.sh / GitHub
npx kaiwu-skills add vercel-labs/agent-skills --skill code-review -g -y

# From a local skill directory
npx kaiwu-skills add ./my-skill -y

# List installed skills
npx kaiwu-skills list

After installing, open KaiwuChat → Settings → Agent Skills → 重新扫描, or restart the app.

Where files go

Project skills override global skills with the same name.

KaiwuChat does not read .cursor/skills/ — skills must live under .kaiwuchat/skills/.

Relation to npx skills

The official skills CLI does not yet ship a kaiwuchat agent. This package writes directly to .kaiwuchat/skills/.

When upstream adds KaiwuChat support, opt in with:

Proposed upstream mapping: upstream/kaiwuchat-agent.json.

Publish

Maintainers: create a GitHub Release (or run the Publish workflow manually). Requires repository secret NPM_TOKEN.
