Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Kanna.db Package:

Kanna.db is a simple package for managing JSON databases in Node.js in an easy and straightforward manner.

Installation

npm install kanna.db

Usage:

const database = require('kanna.db');

// Set a value for a specific key
database.set('key', 'value');

// Retrieve the value of a specific key
const value = database.get('key');
console.log(value); // This will print 'value'

// Check if a specific key exists
const exists = database.has('key');
console.log(exists); // This will print true

// Retrieve all data
const allData = database.fetchAll();
console.log(allData); // This will print all data in the database

// Remove a specific key
database.remove('key');

// Create a backup of the database
database.backup('backup');
