Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

CLI to build for appjs, the endpoints

ks-ai-insert-table-check 🚀

A CLI and SDK utility for verifying the existence of target routing files before performing table insertions or scaffolding in Express.js.

npm version License

📖 Overview

ks-ai-insert-table-check is a lightweight developer utility and SDK that checks if required routing files (specifically routes.js) exist in a target directory. It is designed to act as a pre-check validator for code generators and scaffolding tools, ensuring a safe workspace environment before attempting to insert new table routes or endpoints.

This project is a core building block of the KeshavSoft API Generation Suite, enabling CLI generators and VS Code extensions to verify local file environments with minimal effort.

📂 Versioning & Support

  • v4 (Latest): Resolves routing files based on configurations provided by pattern-collector-base-files (specifically looking up the fromRoutesJsEnd structure) and returns an execution validation result payload.

🚀 Execution Flow

Run CLI / SDK Check
        │
        ▼
Resolve target paths from pattern-collector-base-files config
        │
        ▼
Verify if routes.js file exists in target path
        │
        ▼
Return JSON check payload (e.g. { KTF: true, KReason: "..." })

📦 Installation

To install globally or locally in your project:

npm install ks-ai-insert-table-check

💻 CLI Usage

Run the checker from your terminal using:

npx ks-ai-insert-table-check <tableName> [toPath]

Arguments

  • tableName - Name of the table or key mapping to validate.
  • toPath - (Optional) Target path to inspect (defaults to the current working directory).

Options

  • -h, --help - Show help message and usage instructions.
  • -v, --version - Show CLI version.

Example

npx ks-ai-insert-table-check purchases ./test/v4

Output (JSON)

{
  "KTF": true,
  "KReason": "file found : D:\\projects\\test\\v4\\routes.js"
}

⚙️ SDK Usage

You can also import ks-ai-insert-table-check programmatically in Node.js:

import runCheck from "ks-ai-insert-table-check";

const targetPath = "./src/routes";
const result = runCheck(targetPath);

console.log(result);
/*
Output:
{
  "KTF": true,
  "KReason": "file found : D:\\projects\\src\\routes\\routes.js"
}
*/
