Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

KW-Releaser

Releaser is a CLI application for helping repository mantainer to create new release draft of a repository. Since we need to release micros frequently, we will need to a tool for auto releaser to make this work faster and easier.

Capabilities

Current version will create a new release draft with a straight forward flow:

  • The release draft will be created in the master branch.
  • The release notes will be created by composing all commits message in the develop branch since the latest release.
  • If no release created before, all commits from develop branch will be taken.

Installation

Prerequisites: - Local instance of Node JS version 8.0 or greater

Run this command in your terminal:

    $ npm install -g kw-releaser

Usage

We can push new release version with one simple command in this format:

    $ release [version] [repository-name]

For instance for new release version of notification-microservice with tag = v.0.0.1, execute this command in the command line:

 $ release v.0.0.1 notification-microservice
