Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Latent Space Hub

LS Wiki-Base for the Latent Space community. Podcasts, articles, AI news, conference talks, papers — searchable via semantic vector search and connected in a wiki-base.

Built on the RA-H foundation, deployed as its own product.

Tech Stack

  • Framework: Next.js 15 + TypeScript + Tailwind CSS
  • Database: Turso (cloud SQLite via @libsql/client)
  • Search: Turso native vector search (F32_BLOB + vector_top_k) + FTS5
  • AI: Anthropic (Claude) + OpenAI (GPT) models via Vercel AI SDK — BYO keys
  • MCP: Model Context Protocol server for AI agent access
  • Deployment: Vercel (readonly mode for public)

Local Development

This repo is the Latent Space community wiki-base. If you want to run your own local-first wiki-base with a private SQLite database, use the open-source version: RA-H Open Source.
