letterset

Work with all letters used in latin, european, greek and cyrillic alphabets.

Note: This is work in progress. Pull requests are welcomed if you would like to help extend the letter range to include any unsupported language(s).

Install

$ npm install --save letterset

Usage Examples

Check if a character is a letter:

letterset.isLetter('a');
//=> true

letterset.isLetter('?');

Get all supported letter characters in an array:

Get the Hexadecimal of a character:

letterset.hex('A'); 
//=> 0x41

Get the Decimal of a character:

letterset.decimal('A');
//=> 65

Get the name of a character:

letterset.name('Œ');
//=> 'LATIN CAPITAL LIGATURE O');
