- Fetches Template: Downloads the MCP server code from
https://llmstxt.com/api/mcp/<company> - Creates Directory: Sets up
~/.mcp/<company>/src/directory structure - Writes Server File: Creates
index.js(or specified filename) with the server code - Updates Cursor Config: Optionally adds the server to
~/.cursor/mcp.config.json - Shows Next Steps: Displays the command to run your MCP server
Directory Structure
After installation:
~/.mcp/
└── <company>/
└── src/
└── index.js # Your MCP server
~/.cursor/
└── mcp.config.json # Cursor IDE configuration (if enabled)Cursor IDE Integration
The CLI can automatically update your Cursor IDE configuration to register the MCP server:
{
"mcpServers": {
"acme-corp": {
"command": "node",
"args": ["/home/user/.mcp/acme-corp/src/index.js"]
}
}
