Lookin MCP Server
MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for Lookin, enabling AI agents to inspect iOS app UI hierarchies in real-time.
Architecture
AI Agent <--MCP(stdio)--> LookinMCP (Node.js) <--HTTP--> Lookin Client (macOS) <--Peertalk--> iOS AppPrerequisites
- Lookin Client (macOS app) running with the embedded HTTP server (port 56780)
- An iOS app connected to Lookin with LookinServer SDK integrated
Install
npm install -g lookin-mcpOr use directly with npx (no install needed).

| lookin_get_selected_view | Get details of the currently selected view |
| lookin_get_view_detail | Get detailed attributes of a view by oid |
| lookin_search_views | Search views by class name, text, or address |

The default text format for lookin_get_ui_tree is optimized for token efficiency:
