Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

lorenz-portfolio — CLI Terminal Portfolio

Unique terminal portfolio for Lorenz F. Estrella — runs in a real terminal via npx. Separate project — does not modify portfolio/ or portfolio-v2.

Requires Node.js 18+

Check:

node -v  # must be >= v18

Quick Start

cd portfolio-terminal
npm install
npm start
# or
npx .

After publish:

npx lorenz-portfolio

How to Use

  • Menu mode (default): Arrow keys → select About / Experience / Skills / Projects / Awards / Contact → Enter. Press Enter to return.
  • Command mode: Choose ⌘ Command mode from menu, then type:
help              — show help
whoami            — who is Lorenz
ls                — list sections & projects
cat <section>     — cat about | experience | skills | projects | awards | contact
cat <project-id>  — cat epark-mo, cat marqai, etc.
goto <section>    — alias for cat
clear             — clear screen
date / echo       — utils
menu              — back to menu
exit              — quit

Examples:

  • Piped / non-TTY: echo "help" | node bin/lorenz.js (used for CI verification)
