Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

masume

A database client for the terminal. PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, ClickHouse, SQLite and MongoDB, with an SQL editor, notebooks, an AI chat and an MCP server.

Install

npm install -g masume
masume

Or run it without an install:

npx masume

macOS, Linux and Windows, on x64 and arm64. Node 18 or later.

The package holds no binary. On install it downloads the release archive for the current platform from GitHub and checks it against the checksums.txt copy inside the package. With --ignore-scripts the download runs on the first masume command instead.
