Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

boatpartsmanual-mcp (npm)

Canonical product identity for marine parts — resolve SKUs, OEM numbers, and part numbers across manufacturers, vendors, and retailers.

Pre-launch stub (0.0.1). The real Model Context Protocol runtime ships shortly.

Install

npm install boatpartsmanual-mcp

What it does (at launch)

Given a SKU, OEM number, or manufacturer part number from any source, the server resolves to a canonical product and exposes the equivalent identifiers at other manufacturers, wholesalers, and online retailers.

Basic tools (product identity, category tree, brand directory) are free at launch. Catalog and cross-source coverage expand weekly.

Status

This 0.0.1 release is a name reservation. When run, the CLI prints a short banner pointing at the docs:
