Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

MCP Carte IGN

Un serveur MCP (Model Context Protocol) pour créer des cartes interactives avec fond hybride IGN/OpenStreetMap.

Fonctionnalités

  • Fond de carte IGN (Géoplateforme) pour la France
  • Basculement automatique vers OpenStreetMap hors de France
  • Clustering des marqueurs
  • Recherche de ville (API Base Adresse Nationale)
  • Compatible Next.js (gestion SSR)

Installation

1. Installer le serveur MCP

cd mcp-carte-ign
npm install
npm run build

2. Configurer Claude Code

Ajoutez dans votre configuration Claude Code (~/.claude/claude_desktop_config.json ou similaire) :

Outils disponibles

create_map_component

Génère les composants React (MapInner + wrapper) avec toutes les options configurables.

get_map_css

Génère le CSS nécessaire pour Leaflet et les clusters.

get_dependencies

Liste les dépendances npm à installer avec les commandes.

explain_ign_tiles

Documentation sur les tuiles IGN Géoplateforme.

create_marker_icons

Instructions pour configurer les icônes de marqueurs.

Exemple d'utilisation

Une fois le MCP configuré, demandez à Claude :

"Crée-moi une carte avec fond IGN pour mon projet Next.js"

Claude utilisera automatiquement les outils du MCP pour générer le code.
