Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

CLI to migrate Cursor MCP settings to Gemini config.

Usage

To run the migration, simply execute the command:

npx mcp-cursor-to-gemini

This will:

  1. Read your Cursor MCP settings from ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
  2. Read your Gemini settings from ~/.gemini/settings.json.
  3. Create a backup of your original Gemini settings at ~/.gemini/settings.json.bak.
  4. Merge the mcpServers from your Cursor settings into your Gemini settings.
  5. Convert timeout values from seconds to millisecond in the mcpServers.
  6. Write the merged settings back to ~/.gemini/settings.json.

I create this tool to do things quickly now, I will not add any features, arguments or update this package.
