Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

TODOIST - MCP

The MCP Server, for handling projects & tasks with Todoist API.

Installation

The server requires the following environment variable:

  • TODOIST_API_TOKEN (required): Your Todoist API Key.

To get your API_TOKEN you can folow here

Install the package globally with npm

npm install -g mcp-todoist

Claude Desktop Configuration

To use this MCP server with Claude desktop:

  1. Create the MCP config file claude_desktop_config.json:

For MacOS: Use ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

For Windows: Use %APPDATA%/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
