mcpwatchman (npm pointer package)

This package points at the real tool. It is not the tool.

mcpwatchman is an independent security and quality audit for Model Context Protocol servers — continuous static analysis, dependency CVE scanning, auth and transport posture, and maintenance signals, published as evidence-linked per-axis scores.

It is Python-native and ships on PyPI:

pip install mcpwatchman
mcpwatchman --help

Requires Python 3.12 or newer.

Running npx mcpwatchman prints the above and exits — the package exists so that command reaches the right project rather than resolving to something unrelated, and so the name stays with the project that uses it everywhere else.
