Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Inventory tracing plugin for Medusa v2. Track stock lots and serial numbers with FIFO lot selection and inventory synchronization.

Installation

Inside your medusa backend root folder:

yarn add medusa-plugin-tracing

Replace "yarn add" with the correct command for your package manager if you are using (for example) npm, pnpm, or bun.

Configuration

Enable in your medusa-config.ts file. Example:

Usage

  • Manage stock lots from the Inventory Item detail page widget in the Medusa admin.
  • Create stock lots with lot numbers and initial quantities.
  • Serial numbers are automatically tracked when assigned to orders.
  • Use the admin API for programmatic stock lot and serial number management.
