mego-cli

Official Command Line Interface (CLI) for the MeGo Gaming Platform.

Use mego-cli to initialize game manifests (mego.json), validate bundle assets, and publish HTML5 web games directly to the MeGo database from your terminal.

🚀 Quickstart

You don't need to install anything globally if you have Node.js installed. You can run it directly with npx:

# 1. Initialize mego.json manifest in your game folder
npx mego-cli init

# 2. Publish the game to MeGo database
npx mego-cli publish

# 3. View list of registered games
npx mego-cli list

📦 Global Installation (Optional)

If you prefer to run mego directly without npx:

npm install -g mego-cli

Then you can use:

mego init
mego publish
mego list

⚙️ Options

• --api <url>: Override the default API URL (Default: http://localhost:5000/api or MEGO_API_URL environment variable).

Example:

npx mego-cli publish --api https://api.mego.io/api
