Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

mikser-io-aml

ArchieML plugin for Mikser. Parses entities with format: 'aml' using archieml and merges the result into entity.meta.

ArchieML is the format the New York Times and ProPublica use for journalist-friendly structured content — comment-tolerant, indentation-loose, easy to write inside a Google Doc and paste back. Reach for this plugin when the people authoring content aren't developers and .yml front-matter is too strict about syntax.

Install

npm install mikser-io-aml

Usage

// mikser.config.js
import { aml } from 'mikser-io-aml'

export default {
  plugins: [aml()]
}

Any entity with entity.format === 'aml' and a content field will be parsed; the parsed object is assigned onto entity.meta and the raw content is dropped.
