Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

mineflayer-uuid-whitelist

A simple whitelist plugin to manage your UUID based whitelist, great for anarchy servers

This plugin only works on servers with "online-mode" set to "true" (Minecraft Premium accounts)

Installation

npm install mineflayer-uuid-whitelist

Usage

Load the plugin with your bot instance:

const mineflayer = require('mineflayer');
const whitelist = require('mineflayer-uuid-whitelist');

const bot = mineflayer.createBot({
  host: 'localhost',
  port: 25565,
  username: 'bot'
});

bot.loadPlugin(whitelist); // Important: only load the plugin after bot initialization

bot.on('chat', async (username, message) => {
  // Whitelist stuff here
});

Methods

bot.whitelist("add", username)

Adds the UUID of an online player to whitelist.json.

bot.whitelist("add", "Notch");

bot.whitelist("remove", username)

Removes the UUID of an online player from whitelist.json.

bot.whitelist("remove", "Notch");

bot.whitelist("check", username)

Checks if the UUID of an online player is in the whitelist. Returns true or false.

const isWhitelisted = await bot.whitelist("check", "Notch"); // true or false
if (isWhitelisted) {
  bot.chat("You are whitelisted!")
} else if (!isWhitelisted) {
  bot.chat("You are not whitelisted!")
}

Config

  • Add a file named uuidconfig.json into your project's directory for some customisability.

Possible config variables:

Variables | Possible values |logic -------- | -------- | -------- "logs" | true/false | displays additional infos in the console

Example uuidconfig.json:

[
  "logs": true
]

Notes

  • ~~The player must be online on the server to perform any of the actions.~~
    The player must own an online account with an valid UUID
  • whitelist.json will be created automatically if it does not exist. Custom UUID lists are supported. Required format:
[
  "069a79f444e94726a5befca90e38aaf5", //UUID here, split with comma
  "61699b2ed3274a019f1e0ea8c3f06bc6"
]
  • All added UUIDs are stored in whitelist.json.
