Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running for development and production environment.

Prerequisites

What things you need to install the software:

  1. node.js (i.e.,>=v8.4.0)
  2. forever (Install using the command: npm install forever -g or sudo npm install forever)

Installing

Follow the steps to install and make the application up and running:

Clone repository

You will need to clone source code of MirrorApi GitHub repository. To do this open console and execute following lines:

git clone https://github.com/huulkecrew/mirror-api.git

Install dependencies

After repository is cloned, go inside of the repository directory and install the dependencies there:

  1. For development server or local machin setup

npm install OR

  1. For production server

npm install --production

Configuration for the project on development, production environment and mirror production environment

  1. Updates the config/dev.js or config/prod.js or mirror.js according to environment
  2. Create storage directory with 777 permission in project root and also create sub directories under storage like: accounts, brands, favourites, items, outfits, products, profiles, providers etc.

Running the server and restart

  1. Runing on Local machine a. Use npm start to run the server locally. b. Use npm run restart to restart server locally.

  2. Running server development environment a. use npm run dev OR sudo npm run dev to run the server in development environment. b. use npm run devrestart OR to restart server in development environment.

  3. Runing server in production environment a. use npm run prod OR sudo npm run prod to run the server in production environment b. use npm run prodrestart OR sudo npm run prodrestart to run the server in production environment

  4. Runing server in mirror production environment a. use npm run mirror OR sudo npm run mirror to run the server in mirror production environment b. use npm run mirrorrestart OR sudo npm run mirrorrestart to run the server in mirror production environment

Verify Domain working:

  1. Open URL in browser with:

http://YourIPAddress:port/ Output: Admin panel should open You can also make Configuration for redirecting http://www.mirror.com to http://YourIPAddress:port inside the server hosting.
