CLI for MixCraft — connects Claude to your music library via MCP. Works with Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and claude.ai.

The hosted mixcraft.app deploy supports Apple Music. Spotify support is available for self-hosted forks; see SELF-HOSTING.md. Which services this CLI exposes is determined by the upstream MCP server it connects to.

Quick Start

1. Sign up at mixcraft.app
2. Connect Apple Music (and Spotify, if you're on a self-hosted deploy with enableSpotify=true)

claude.ai (Recommended)

Add MixCraft as a connector directly in claude.ai — no CLI needed:

1. Go to Customize > Connectors > + > Add custom connector
2. Fill in:
   • Name: Mixcraft
   • Remote MCP server URL: https://mcp.mixcraft.app/mcp
3. Expand Advanced settings and add:
   • OAuth Client ID: FLECRN3FqkNiXtGI
4. Click Add, then authorize with your MixCraft account

Claude Code

Create an API key at mixcraft.app, then add to your project's .mcp.json:

After saving, restart Claude Desktop. MixCraft will appear under Settings > Connectors.

Available Tools

Tools are registered based on which services you've connected. When both are connected, tools are prefixed (apple_music_*, spotify_*).

How It Works

The CLI creates a local MCP stdio server that proxies tool calls to the hosted MixCraft API at mcp.mixcraft.app. Authentication uses your API key from mixcraft.app.
