Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Install

npm install

Usage

mkproject
mkproject new my-app
mkproject new my-app --template react-tailwind --pm pnpm
mkproject api --template express-api --no-install
mkproject app --template fullstack-react-express --docker --github-actions

Commands

Create Options

--template <name>       Template to use
--type <name>           Alias for frontend, backend, or fullstack
--pm <name>             npm, pnpm, yarn, or bun
--tailwind              Add Tailwind CSS where supported
--typescript            Use TypeScript where supported
--prettier              Add Prettier config
--docker                Add Docker files
--github-actions        Add GitHub Actions workflow
--database <name>       mongodb or postgres
--no-install            Skip dependency installation
--no-git                Skip git initialization
--open                  Open in VS Code
--dry-run               Show what would happen
--fast                  Install dependencies and skip extra setup
