mlphone

mlphone is a lightweight phonetic hashing library for Malayalam script. It generates simplified ASCII-based hashes of Malayalam words, enabling fuzzy matching, deduplication, and search-friendly comparisons.

All credit for the original algorithm and design goes to the author.
