Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

mod-arch-installer

mod-arch-installer delivers the CLI for scaffolding new Modular Architecture projects straight from the mod-arch-starter reference implementation.

Usage

# Creates ./my-new-module/ in current directory (PatternFly-only flavor)
npx mod-arch-installer -n my-new-module

# Creates ./packages/my-new-module/
npx mod-arch-installer ./packages -n my-new-module

# With Kubeflow flavor (MUI theme)
npx mod-arch-installer -n my-new-module --flavor kubeflow

Options

The target directory is automatically created using [base-directory]/[module-name].

Development

Run npm install from the repo root to install workspace dependencies.
Execute npm run sync-templates --workspace=mod-arch-installer to copy the latest starter files into the installer package.
Build with npm run build --workspace=mod-arch-installer.

The sync script copies the entire mod-arch-starter directory (excluding build outputs) into mod-arch-installer/templates/, ensuring the published package always contains the freshest starter snapshot.
