Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Moesic

Moesic is a freely accessible and open collection of Japanese music and anime. The project is open source, with the goal of providing a simple, aesthetically pleasing music listening experience focused on Japanese and anime content.

FFmpeg Required

Manual download please visit the following website ffmpeg.org

Install FFmpeg

Linux (Debian/Ubuntu)

Usually Linux already has ffmpeg built in, if not, please install it using the following command

sudo apt update && sudo apt install ffmpeg

macOS (with Homebrew)

brew install ffmpeg

Windows

# use choco
choco install ffmpeg

# use scoop
scoop install ffmpeg

# use winget
winget install ffmpeg

Installation

Linux / macOS

Run the following command to install Moesic:

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/angga7togk/moesic/main/install.sh | bash

Alternatively, you can download and run the installation script manually:

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/angga7togk/moesic/main/install.sh
chmod +x install.sh
./install.sh

Windows

Option 1: Using PowerShell

Run the following command in PowerShell:

iwr -useb https://raw.githubusercontent.com/angga7togk/moesic/main/install.ps1 | iex

Option 2: Using Batch File

Download and run install.bat.

Manual Installation

Please download the latest version of Moesic from the Releases page and place the binary in your system path.
