Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Programatically reboots Motrola modems using Playwright

Reboots a Motorola modem using the status page.

Reboot is carried out in headless Chromium using Playwright. Some Playwright configuration may be required.

Installation

$ npm install -g @justintout/motorola-modem-reboot

Usage

$ reboot-modem -h 
Usage: reboot-modem [-h] [-v]

Options:
        -h:     Print this help and exit
Varaibles:
        MODEM_REBOOT_HOST:       use this URL to reach the modem
        MODEM_REBOOT_USER:       use this username to log into the modem
        MODEM_REBOOT_PASSWORD:   use this password to log into the modem

The program defaults to the username admin and password motorola. Supply the MODEM_REBOOT_USERNAME and MODEM_REBOOT_PASSWORD enviornment variables to override.

By default, the program reaches the modem at http://192.168.100.1. Supply the MODEM_REBOOT_HOST environment variable to override.

Developing

$ git clone https://github.com/justintout/motorola-modem-reboot
$ cd motorola-modem-reboot

This package is straightforward and, for my purposes, is feature compelete. Open an issue or submit a pull request with improvements/bugfixes.
