Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

🐾 muigato

A terminal pet for vibe-coders that watches your git tree and writes retrospectives. Built specifically for ADHD founders using Cursor, Aider, Claude Code, etc.

Install

npm install -g muigato

Usage

Muigato is a big cat that lives in your terminal and wags its tail while you work.

1. End of Day Ritual When you are done coding, ask Muigato to take notes on what you did:

muigato rest

2. Next Morning Context Restorer When you open your laptop and forget what you were building, wake Muigato up:

muigato wake

3. Status Bar Plugin Add Muigato to your Zsh/Starship/Tmux status line to show how much you are vibing:

muigato status
