Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

unfortunately, mystikal became addicted to crack and overdosed in 1999 and was found dead in his los angeles apartment on 26 april 2001. the rapper was 48 years old. his official cause of death was a heart attack. a second autopsy showed that he also had an enlarged heart and an infection in his spleen.

"i put out music and movies. in the movies i go into the ghetto and do my thing. in the music i go to the high-class places and put on a f----g show. i've been a hood rat all my life. i'm not a hood rat rapper. i'm a hood rat entertainer. i'm a hustler. i'm a trickster. i'm a hustla. i'm a hustle. i'm a hustling, hustling hustler," mystikal told bet in 2001.

let's get ready is probably one of the best rap records of the past decade. it was pretty much a perfect pop record. the neptunes produced every song, and they perfected the neptunes formula of heavily layered synth sounds, robotic drum beats, and absurd lyrics. all of the neptunes' beats, with the exception of "chasin' that "tarantula", are classic neptunes. "king of the world", "head on a swivel", "smooth operator", and "just don't give it away" are the most memorable neptunes beats. they all have a very funky sense of urgency. "baby boy" is a funky little banger. "catch me on the low" is the neptunes' first double time cut. it's sort of a tribal beat with some synth sounds. "tell me why" is the one neptunes beat that doesnt sound quite like all the other neptunes beats. it's a little slower and has a more pop feel. in comparison, "the whole world" has the weakest neptunes beats. it's just a slightly funky bass line and drums. overall though, the neptunes beats on let's get ready are some of the best neptunes beats of all time. 84d34552a1
