Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

n8n-nodes-contextstream

This package is MIT-licensed and has no runtime dependencies. It is not on the public registry yet.

Install

In n8n: Settings, Community Nodes, Install n8n-nodes-contextstream. Until publish, install from this GitHub repository.

Credentials

Add a ContextStream API credential. Paste your API key. Default MCP URL is https://mcp.contextstream.io/mcp. Pass the key through n8n credentials only.

Operations

Usable as an AI Agent tool.

MCP: List Tools, Call Tool. Memory: Search (search), Create Document (memory_create_doc). Session: Capture Lesson (session_capture_lesson), Capture Plan (capture_plan), Call Session (session action such as list_recaps), Help Version (help action version). Use Call Tool plus JSON arguments for other documented tools.

Development

Use the n8n-node scripts in package.json to lint, build, and run locally.
